Ostelin Vitamin D Liquid. Many Australians do not achieve sufficient Vitamin D levels due to lack of sun exposure and inadequate diet. Vitamin D is essential for efficient utilisation of calcium and phosphorous in the body which are vital for the production of strong bones and healthy nervous and immune systems. As Vitamin D is important for muscle development and contraction, it may reduce the risk of falls, due to improved muscle tone and strength. The requirement for vitamin D increases in pregnant women due to calcium deposition and bone mineralisation in the developing baby. Ostelin  Vitamin D Liquid contains Vitamin D3 which is the form that is produced naturally in the body.
For adults and children over 12 years of age 0.5mL (1000IU vitamin D3) daily with a meal or as directed by our healthcare professional. Not recommended for children under 12 years without medical advice.
