Ingredients | Each 5 mL contains:Brompheniramine Maleate 2 mg,Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg,Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg.Also contains sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium and sorbitol (5.46and#47;10mL). |
Warnings | This medication may cause drowsinesss. If affected, do not drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid Alcohol.Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours or are accompanied by a high fever, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.If you are hypersensitivite to any of the ingredients, or are taking a prescription antihypertensive or have recently taken antidepressant medication, seek medical advice before taking this medication.Do not take this product if you are taking sedatives or tranquillizers without consulting a doctor.Seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you have an underlying disease condition such as:- heart disease- hypertension- asthma- emphysema- difficulty breathing- thyroid disease- diabetes- glaucoma- difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate glandAs with any medication, women who are pregnant or nursing a baby should seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.Sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea in some people. This is more likely if several products containing sorbitol or related substances are consumes simultaneously. |
Directions | May be taken diluted with water. Every 4 hours orally, if required.Adults and Children over 12 years: 10mL. Children 6 - 12 years: 5mL. Children 2 - 6 years : 2.5mlDo not exceed 6 doses in a 24 hour period. Not to be used for children under 2 years of age without medical advice. |
