1. By applying for and/or using your Cincotta Rewards Membership Card or claiming any rewards points or participating in The Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any variation to them from time to time.
‘Member’ means a member of the Rewards Program.
'Benefits' means rewards, discounts and special offers available from participating stores as offered from time to time subject to any conditions as notified from time to time;
‘Cincotta Rewards’ means those arrangements by which a member receives rewards and benefits from participating stores under these Terms and Conditions;
‘Eligible Purchase’ means the purchase of items that are not Excluded Items.
‘The Program’ means Cincotta Rewards program under which a member receives rewards and benefits from participating stores and these Terms and Conditions;
‘MembershipCard' means a card issued to members of Cincotta Rewards;
'Participating Stores' means stores participating in The Program s who supply goods and services in respect of which various rewards, discounts, special offers and other benefits may be claimed by members subject to any conditions determined by those stores;
“The Manager’, “we”, “us”, or “our” is a reference to the Participating Stores, or CC Pharmacy Management Pty Ltd (ABN 28 128 459 049), as operator of The Program.
3. Becoming a Member
3.1. To become a Member of The Program, you must be an individual, over 18 years of age, have a current Australian residential address and apply in with one valid form of contact in store at a Participating Store. To see a list of Participating Stores please go to www.cincottachemist.com.au. You will become a Member once we accept your application and issue a Membership Card to you.
3.2. We may refuse your application for membership for any reason.
3.3. Membership is free (there is no joining fee), however, we reserve the right to charge a fee of $2.50 for any replacement Cards.
3.4. Membership Cards are not credit or charge cards, are not transferable (except that you may permit members of your immediate family to use your card) and remain Cincotta Rewards property.
3.5. You must notify Cincotta Rewards promptly of any:
a) lost or stolen Membership Card or for any unauthorised use of a Membership Card..
b) unauthorised transaction in relation to your membership.
4. Earning points & rewards
4.1. You may earn points by presenting your Membership Card when you make an Eligible Purchase at Participating Stores. Exclusions may vary from store to store.
4.2. Points cannot be earned on “Pharmacy Only”, “Pharmacist Only”, prescriptions, gift vouchers or other products where the grant of points is prohibited by law (Excluded Items). Bonus points may be offered from time to time during special promotions on selected products or services.
4.3. When you present your Membership Card when making a purchase at a Participating Store, one point will be credited to your account for every whole $1 spent in the transaction for Eligible Purchases.
4.4. When you accrue a total of 167 points you will be entitled to a discount of $5.00 on any 1 future transaction (excluding any amounts payable for Excluded Items).
4.5. You must present your Membership Card at the time of purchase to earn points.
4.6. Your membership reward points will expire after a 12-month period from date of reward earned.
4.7. Cincotta Rewards Points may not be redeemed for money and have no monetary value. Cincotta Rewards Points cannot be exchanged, transferred to other participating members, sold, bartered, and otherwise dealt with other than in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. If your Membership Card is lost or stolen, any accrued points will not be replaced.
4.8. Any points issued as a result of fraud, dishonesty or error, or that relate to a purchase that is subsequently cancelled or refunded will be deducted from your points balance.
5. Using Points
5.1 Points can be redeemed in part or full payment for purchases up to the amount of the Points balance available on your Membership Card once you have accumulated sufficient points to meet the minimum points threshold.
5.2 No cash refund will be made where the points balance on your Membership Card exceeds the price of the items purchased.
5.3 Points can only be redeemed by the Member whose name the membership is in.
6.3 To opt out of receiving marketing material, you can unsubscribe by updating your membership profile at any Participating Store.
7. Changes to The Program
7.1 We reserve the right to change, suspend or terminate these Terms and Conditions or The Program at any time, without notice, even if this would reduce or eliminate the number of Points already issued or result in a cancelation of points already issued.
7.2 We will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you by posting a notice in your Participating Store.
7.3 We will not be liable to you for the termination of The Program for any reason whatsoever, including for any Points on your Membership at the time of termination.
8. General conditions
8.1. Cincotta Rewards may terminate your membership if you, or a member of your immediate family who uses a membership card;
a) fails to comply with these terms and conditions;
b) abuses any privilege accorded to you as a member under Cincotta Rewards; or
c) supplies any false or misleading information or make any false or misleading misrepresentations to us or to any participating stores in connection with Cincotta Rewards.
8.2. You may terminate your membership at any time by either visiting a Cincotta Discount Chemist website. On receiving such notice, we will note your membership details on the database as inactive.
8.3. Cincotta Rewards Points cannot be combined with any other discount offer. Not valid on Gift Card purchases and/or spend. Not redeemable for store credit or cash.
